We are proud to present the finale patch in our ancient civilization and Star Wars Coins series. This is our Mandalorian and Byzantine coin with the Latin phrase “Quod obstat viae fit pro via” with the same phrase repeated again in Mandoa script below it. This translates to “The Obstacle becomes the way,” a quote from Marcus Aurelius. As he says in Meditations Book 5.20, “The mind adapts and converts to its own purposes the obstacle to our acting. The impediment to action advances action. What stands in the way becomes the way." This quote embodies how both the Mandalorians and the Stoics view challenges.
